I'm not sure what happens if a school loses accreditation, but I can explain why getting accreditation is retroactive. I thought they had a solid nursing program, but I am getting worried since we have lost a couple faculty members recently as well (related, perhaps?). (Maybe other schools can too but im only familiar with it in business school) I believe most or all of the prestigious business schools are AACSB accredited, WGUs business programm are ACBSP. Their attrition rate appeared to be on par with the national average. If the absolute worst were to happen, they would only lose regional accreditation and would switch to nationally accredited. Yeah I think you’re right. They’re actively ruining lives. Recently, it has been brought to light seniors have lawsuits with the school over transcripts for transferring.
